Although a part of him wanted to stay in bed and sleep he knew the bridge would be a welcome distraction after Femi's departu= re. Alex had kept a close eye on long range sensors to make sure she was safe but when the shuttle finally went off the grid he had little left to do. With= the ship at the starbase bridge duty was rather boring. :: oO How am I going to spend the next few hours? Oo :: Alex looked around but most of the skeleton crew that now occupied the= bridge seemed busy with all kinds of technical issues that were beyond the= former tactical officer. Then the turbolift doors opened up and Maeli stepped out. She seemed pleased about something.:: Williams: Morning, lieutenant Maeli: Response? Williams: I believe our engineering team is making the required chances to= your station for your new task, congratulations again on your promotion by= the way. Maeli: Response? Williams: I take it you are here to have a look at their handy work. Maeli: Response? Williams: Is that so? We didn't get to talk much after the ceremony= . Maeli: Response? Williams: ::Smiling:: Yeah, that was fun. Shame those evening always go this fast. ::Alex had really enjoyed the evening. He thought he could live on that good vibe for weeks but after the sudden leave of Femi he felt like he could take a new break.:: oO Need to find a good distraction for tonight. Williams: Well I was thinking about a good workout, but not that I think about it I might look for a sparring partner to play some darts. You wouldn't happen to know anyone would you?
