( officer's mess ) IC: :: Kelrod and Walker had had this kind of relationship, friendly, somehow distant, but trustworthy. They won't usually go looking for each other, but when they needed an ear or a shoulder, they've found each other. :: Kelrod: Well, I might ask you for some counsels someday. After all you and Danni had maintained your relationship through the years and through Starfleet deployments. :: Her smile was a bit sad but she nodded. She and Danni had been yo-yoing around the universe for awhile, as soon as they'd land in the same ship, one or the other would need to move. Usually arriving together in the midst of a crisis. Since then, they'd made an agreement to do whatever it took to stay together. :: Walker: Hopefully you don't need to go through some of our hoops. But if you do need to separate, we can share the holo-dating tech we created. Kelrod: I hope it doesn't come to that, ... specially as we're starting it. What is it that ... holo-dating? Walker: Roughly, you create a data crystal before you separate. In that, you put all sorts of detailed information the computer takes from a holodeck. Then, when you want a "date night", the data sharing is only for updates on facial movement and sound. :: chuckling:: Each of you are actually talking to a hologram, but updated live.. it's better than just an image. Kelrod: I guess it'll be holosuite 2.0. You know, you never cease to amaze me with your... abilities. Walker: Never bet against engineers working in concert is all I can say. :: She chewed on the inside of her lip for a moment, Kelrod feeling she's somehow worried about something. :: Speaking of, I'd like to talk to you sometime about a situation I'm aware of. Want to get your thoughts on it. Kelrod: Of course. Is it something specific? Something important? Walker: I want an external viewpoint is all, someone who's viewpoint is different enough from mine, and who I trust. Kelrod: :: No matter how much time, but he felt good hearing her say that. ::You know, I'll help you in any way I could. Walker: Response Kelrod: Whenever you want to, just give me a call. I pressume it's nothing urgent as you used the term "sometime". Walker: Response Kelrod: I'm happy to help in any way I could. :: He said smiling to her. The pink haired engineer had become one of his closest friends during the time Marcus had been on the fleet and it seems that also Kelrod can count her as his friend.:: TBC: Commander Kelrod *SAR LeaderUSS Veritas* *NCC-95035* *K238008KT0* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "= UFOP: StarBase 118 =E2=80=93 USS Veritas" group.
