((Bridge, USS Constitution-B)) ::Sarah looked at Jalana and Alex and decided to weigh in. One thing she had learned in her time in Starfleet is that there were times that were ok to weigh in and times it wasn't really necessary. This seemed to be= a good time to weigh in.:: Mason: I think they are right. The best option may have to be boots on the ground. There's definitely something there, but I'm not hav= ing any luck clearing it up from here. Blair: I think they're right Jalana. We've got to get close= r and its too risky to take the Constitution much closer. Rajel: Okay. So the chances to see what's up down there are higher when we actually go down. T'Seva: Boots on the ground it is. Ren: Sir, we would be going down there without knowing what we are getting ourselves into. Adjusting sensors on the shuttles may, and I stress may, give us better readings. If we send a probe, there would be no casualties. A probe doesn't bleed. Mason: Even the sensors from the shuttle may be able to clear up the readings. We might be able to determine how to counter the interference. It'll be tricky, but it may be our only option to find out what=E2= =80=99s down there. Blair: Mitchell, Davis send word to engineering to start making modifications to one of the type-11 shuttles. We can't safely head = down if we can't make heads or tails of what's happening down there= . Mitchell: Aye. I've computed what peramiters the engineers are goin= g to need for the shuttle modification. I will leave the ships computations in hands. ::As he contacted Engineering, Sarah refocused her attention on the conversation with Alex and Jalana:: T'Seva: At the very least, we need to know if the air is breathable= . ::Sarah waited silently for the command officers to decide what came next. She had a feeling it would be a staff meeting to get everyone up to date, but sometimes they surprised her.:: Blair: Should I call the senior staff to the conference room so we can lay out a plan of action while on the surface? Rajel: Yes, but let them come to the bridge. I don't want to waste too much time with settling down and all that. Blair: =3D/\=3D All senior staff, report to the bridge ASAP for a short mis= sion briefing. =3D/\=3D ::Sarah smiled to herself- she didn't have far to go, so she remain= ed at her station monitering the situation and waited for others to arrive. While she did so, she noticed Jalana leaning in and talking to Alex. She wasn=E2= =80=99t one to eavesdrop but she had a feeling that Jalana was about to drop a bomb on the man. She snuck a peak and his reaction told her she was right. That was the nice thing about no longer being First Officer she could j= ust roll with it better now when Jalana wanted to bend the rules.:: (OOC- More coming later- ran out of time on my lunch break!)
