(( Counseling Office - The day after the mission )) :: The Trill sank against the desk in her back as her thoughts went from 'What if Jalana does this?' to 'What if I never get the chance to tell her? To ask the questions I have? To get to know something about my dad?'. The thought of not knowing really scared her. She had him... her right here. And all that stood between her and the answers she had been looking for was her own hesitation, just because she was afraid of something that could, or could not happen. :: Thyar: I never thought of it that way. ::She merely whispered.: Saveron: The wise learn from their mistakes; the wisest from the mistakes of others. ::His tone was quiet, gentle.:: If you do not make the attempt, you will never know. Thyar: It reminds me of my mother. Saveron: In what way? Thyar: She always says, that you can only win if you try. If you don't, you will lose a 100% of the time. Saveron: Your mother is a wise woman. Thyar: I... ::Taking a deep breath:: I will talk with her. Well not now, I have to work. But while we are docked at the Starbase. I'll try... really. Saveron: If you would wish the presence of another for support, I would have no objection in being present for you. ::He offered.:: :: She tilted her head, surprised by the offer. It was one thing to listen to her and offering advice, another to sit in in a personal situation like that. :: Thyar: Really? Saveron: Offering each other support is one of the welcome duties of friends. But the choice is yours. :: Siance couldn't help but smile hearing that he saw them as friends. She didn't have many friends, but the few she had were dear to her. Teacher, mentor, friend. She liked that. With a smile she bowed her head in thanks and respect. :: Thyar: Thank you. I will think about it, Commander. Saveron: I shall leave it with you. It is agreeable to see you prospering. :: The young Trill continued to smile, it was good having people around her who were on her side and wished her best. But not only wished but also supported and helped her to get there. :: Thyar: Thank you, Commander. It is great that you are back. :: She bowed her head once more as he left and looked at the door after it closed behind him. It really was good that he was back, it somehow kept her on her toes. She also felt guilty for not following his advice much much sooner. She'd have to get on top of that, maybe her whole anxiety around Jalana would become better with it. Or she could ruin everything, but either solution could come true, or not and she wouldn't know, if she didn't at least try. :: ----- Cadet 2nd grade Siance Thyar Counseling Trainee simmed by Captain Jalana Rajel Commanding Officer USS Constitution B Image Team Facilitator A238906JL0 GTalk: JessWerner79@gmail.com, Yahoo: Lawinia_A@yahoo.de , Skype: chandni_khondji, Discord: Jess#6085 Email: werner-jessica@gmx.de -- *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Maybe it was a gas leak in the shed." Her parents' mumbling voices went past Alana, it was all too much for her. Never had she seen a fire like that, and the pile of ashes in the garden showed how lucky they were that nobody had been inside when it went off. But something felt wrong with what her brother said. Not the words themselves in the first moment, but seeing their gazes, the looks her parents shot over to her every now and then. They were full of shock and something else that the little ten year old girl had never seen before.
